Cabo and its surroundings are wonderful for vacation, for the beaches and the ocean and how you can feel in contact with nature, the cuisine where you can try local delicacies and international dishes, the big resorts with all the luxuries and the tiny picturesque hotels. But also, the landscapes are jaw-dropping and added to this the architecture, high-end design places and quaint frames everywhere.
When we go on a trip, we always want to take the best pictures to have to remember later the magical time we had, and here in Cabo, there are TONS of places that are worthy of being shaped for posterity, and we want to show you some of them.
First of all, the hotels. This is where you are going to spend most of your time during your vacay, and some of them have beautiful corners to get inspired by. Look for a place that makes you feel calm and if it’s possible good light.
There are some of them that you definitely have to visit, even if you are not staying there, to find charming scenarios.
One of our personal favorites is Hotel El Ganzo, which is also an art gallery filled with murals and colorful stuff. Take a look!
Beach photos are essential. But how can you make them great? Of course, there are many resources that you can use to improve your pics. Lenses (there are little ones for smartphones), better camera equipment, tripods (really helpful), selfie sticks, drones, etc.
Have we mentioned that Balandra beach is recognized as one of the most beautiful in the world?
You will find natural landscapes in every place you turn, you won’t want to blink.
Markets in Mexico are always full of color, flavor, heavenly smells, and nice people. They are great for having fun taking pictures. Maybe you’ll want to visit El Merkado in San Jose del Cabo, which is a gastronomical center and you will find meat, fish, seafood, groceries, fruit, veggies, baked goodies, WINE, freshly pressed juices, artisanal pizzas, fresh pasta, healthy food, coffee and of course, ICE CREAM.
The town of Cabo Pulmo, bordering the reef, was until recently a laid-back fishing village. A very well kept secret by a few. You can come here to live the experience that you get from a natural park plus a lovely little town.
As you may know now, there are many magic towns in the Baja. All of them special and mystical.
The pier in La Paz, or El Malecón, is on the list without a doubt. Find street art on the walls outside of the stores and great views.
Flora Farms is a 25-acre organic working farm in the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. HOW GORGEOUS IS THIS PLACE? Definitely, the place for a photoshoot.
Finally, The Glass Factory is a place that seems taken from a fairy tale, located out on the bypass road to Todos Santos, where more than 500 one-of-a-kind pieces are made daily by local artisans. This will definitely be something out of the ordinary in your Cabo bucket list.
Naturally, don’t forget The Arch. A cliché, but a dazzling one.

Maybe you are thinking that you are not a professional photographer, but there are some quick tips that you can put into practice to improve a lot. For example, if you are using your phone, don’t take your photos from the Instagram app or other, take from the camera app to get better results. Clean your camera lens, sounds dumb, but it makes a difference. Always go for natural light better. Take a few pictures of the same thing, try different angles and poses.
Please, send us all of your amazing Cabo shots! We want to see them in the same way we love to see the pictures of Bob, the Cabo dog.
